Installation Technician

Job Description

A typical day in the life of an installer at SugarHouse Industries includes arriving at our facility by 7:45 am, reviewing install orders, participating in morning production meetings, meeting with your install team, loading tools, equipment, and products into our company trucks, and traveling to your scheduled appointments for the day. Installers will use ladders, hand tools, power tools, and construction skills to install our products onto homes or businesses. Installers take a lunch break, and are typically done by 4:30 pm daily, (sometimes earlier and sometimes later depending on the circumstances of each install). Installers typically work Monday – Friday but may also be required to work Saturdays occasionally as our schedule dictates.

Installers typically work in teams of two, but can work in smaller or larger teams as the job dictates.

Job Type Full-time

Pay $14.00 – $20.00 per hour

General Shop Work

Job Description Join our team today! SugarHouse Industries is looking to hire someone with general laborer skills to assemble custom residential and commercial awnings at our production facility in Midvale. We are seeking someone with a strong work ethic, who is meticulous, honest, punctual and has high attention to details. Compensation is based on experience.

Shop workers arrive at 7:50 am, review orders, participate in morning production meetings, meet with their assembly team, and then delve into their production schedule for the day. At times, assembly workers will also work on-site with our install crews as needed.

Business Development Manager

SugarHouse is the largest producer of awnings, boat tops and custom canvas products in the Intermountain West. Job Description:

SugarHouse Industries is in need of an accomplished Business Development Manager who thrives in growing their respective business territory and building long term customer relationships to maximize company profit goals. We are looking for someone to help us expand our product offerings to a national level through multi-channel sales.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Focus on generating new business by identifying and developing new sources for B2B sales opportunities across multiple channels (e-commerce, distribution, and partnerships).
  • Meet or exceed strategic sales goals/expectations and quota requirements.
  • Negotiate, present, problem solve and manage overall customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with personnel in new and existing customer accounts.
  • Must have aptitude to communicate and build relationship with all types of stakeholders serving in a range of roles.
  • Accurately and effectively position each of the major product capabilities to a diverse client base.
  • Represent SugarHouse with a professional appearance everyday.

Requirements:

  • The ability to sell like no other.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to deliver customer/sales expectations.
  • Experience working with Zoho or similar CRM.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Must be able to lift 45+ pounds.
  • Must have internet/ basic computer skills in Excel, Word, etc.
  • Reliable attendance/self-starter.
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing.

Salary: $80,000 – $110,000 DOE + Commission + Bonus + Benefits
